Airplane disasters
We have been involved in the settlement of various aircraft accidents over the years. For example, Geertruid worked on the Faro case at the time (1992). Evert assisted several victims in the Turkish Airlines plane crash (2009). Together with Pauline, Evert assisted the next of kin of the Dutch passenger of the Germanwings aircraft (2015). From the beginning, Evert has been involved in the MH17 settlement (2014). He works in this complex case together with seven other lawyers in the so-called Legal Aid Team MH17. Through all these years, an international network has also been built up in this specialist area of law (Aviation).
